6. – 9. septembrini 2022 toimub Kihnu saarel Euroopa Väikesaarte ühenduse ESIN (European Small Island Federation) konverents ja aastakoosolek. Külalisi ja osalejaid on oodata 45…50 ja seda 11 riigist.
Majutus Uibu ja taludes ja Sadama öömajas.
Tuesday 6 September
Arrival to Kihnu:
Ferry Kihnu Virve departures from the mainland: 8.30, 14.30, 17.45
Transportation for the luggage and a short walk (15 minutes) to accommodation at Uibu farm

19:30 Opening of the conference. Dinner with Kihnu island food. Culture programme with folk singing and workshop of folk dances. Greetings from Kihnumua (Katrin Kumpan folk singing and dancing). Manija Poisid, Kihnumua (musical block and workshop of folk dances)
Wednesday 7 September
Island culture and heritage excursion
10:00 a guided tour on the island (by trucks)
13:00 lunch at Metsamaa farm and introduction of cultural heritage (songs, dances, folk costumes)
16:00 handicraft workshop (braiding of the shin cord)
17:00 visiting fish processing and woodworking enterprises
19.00 dinner at Kultuurimaja
Thursday 8 September
ESIN CONFERENCE
09:00 Conference “Island policies and habitability”
13:00 lunch at the Community Centre
14:00 Conference “Island policies and habitability”
16:30 ESIN AGM at the Community Centre
19:00 Conference closing dinner at Uibu Farm
Friday 9 September
Departure from Kihnu
08:00 – breakfast at the accommodation
09:15 – transport of the luggage to the port
